Hi,
I have a problem with the sound on my ASUS TUF Gaming FX-504 laptop. While I am playing any game, after approx 40-50 minutes the sound is starting to stutter and then the sound drops out. Or the laptop changes audio output from headphones to speakers by itself after approx 40-50 minutes of gaming. Every other programs (Chrome, Mozilla, audio players...) works fine. The problem appears on both (headphones and internal speakers).
There is what have I done:
- unplugged the headphones
- reinstalled the audio drivers
- ran the audio troubleshooter
- turned off audio enhancements
- checked for updates (on official Asus page)
- updated BIOS
- reinstalled whole Windows 10
- cleaned laptop from dust and changed the thermal paste (in service)
It started after the graphics card driver update. My laptop ran into BSOD and I had to reinstall the Windows. After the reinstallation the problem with sound appeared. Then I have done two more reinstallations of Windows, but the problem persist. I followed step-by-step instructions on Windows page for reinstalling the Windows.
Everything else works fine (except low battery life and one year old graphics card driver).
I will be very thankful for any advices.
Thank you
Marek
