I'm suddenly dealing with my Cyberlink Youcam9 web cam software being blocked and my AMD Radeon graphics card unable to update. I check my Windows update and get a message that Windows has been failing to update with this message: "There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 - Error 0xc1900204."
I regularly check my device manager to keep all my drivers up to date.
I've been living with the unanswered problem that a ton of my icons now appear so tiny that I can't even see them.
It's the same old story that I've had to put up with regularly on Windows updates. I've run both DISM and sfc /scannow with successful reported results, but nothing is fixed. The only answer I get is to do a complete clean re-installation, which is of course ridiculous since I have years of installations that I'd have to recreate. And all of this when my system overall has been working fine with occasional small problems that are resolvable or I've become inured to living with the breakdowns.
Repeatedly MS insists on cramming their bundled software, changing my settings to their desired defaults, forcing me to spend a lot of time to reset my default app choices.
Why do they do this? None of their "engineers" seem to understand the principle that if it ain't broke, you shouldn't try to fix it.
Yes, I'm extremely annoyed. These are enormous wastes of my time that always set me to wondering why I continue to spend money on their products over so many years.
As always, the links and instructions are useless and only send you down deep rabbit holes of myriads of dead ends. I can't recall how many times I've sent them feedbacks with full documentation of problems and pursued recommended solutions that don't work.
Can they just get their poop all in a pile and fix this garbage?
