Recently carried out updates and restarted - power button started to blink but won't take me to log in (black screen) when trying to power machine up - unplugged adaptor, changed BIOS battery, unplugged internal battery for 30 secs, clicked no to any power saving/lid etc in control panel/settings - still no change. However, it did power up when it chose to (very randomly) at times, but had to wait sometimes hours for this to happen - plugged and unplugged.
Did reset windows, saving files yesterday and restarted. Now power light still flashing and won't boot/turn on/wake up. Can hear a whirring noise and fan spin - nothing beyond that. Tried power button drain multiple times! Now NOTHING - JUST FLASHING LIGHT!
I don't think its hardware but believe it is something to do with OS crashing (read some posts/searched)- I am a novice please help - I love my machine!
