Microsoft Office - COmputer reset - Update 2004 and Killer Control compatibility
Long story short, late evening three days ago (so on the 14th), I told my computer to update before going to be (it was the microsoft cumulative update for v2004). The next morning, I found my computer was unable to see ANY wifi networks at all. I have an alienware Aurora R8, and apparently this is a known problem. Full story here ( View: https://www.reddit.com/r/computer_help/comments/kdn4ui/alienware_aurora_8_windows_10_update_issue/
& View: https://www.reddit.com/r/pchelp/comments/kdn4bn/windows_10_update_2004_alienware_aurora_8/
). After trying all of the recommended options on KillerControl problem shooting for Code 10, I finally tried resetting my computer which didn't work. Eventually, I found that not only did I have to run KillerSoftware uninstaller, but also manually delete Killer 1535 from my device manager THEN reinstall it in order to access wifi. At this point, having reset my computer, I found it no longer had Microsoft office on it. I would attach a snap shot of it but these were the removed aps:
Is there a way for me to restore these to my computer? Frankly, I'm a little ticked I had to go through all this after an update from Microsoft, and I'm leery of adding all the updates again incase it acts up once more.
Any advice would be greatly aprpeciated.
Regards.
