Windows updates fail to install, error 0x800f0922

D

DanielLinkeh

When attempting to update windows to the December update and update 20H2, the update progresses to 97% and then says "We couldn't install the updates, undoing changes," restarting twice before reverting.

I have attempted many fixes for this issue, including the ones found in this thread: Windows Update Error 0x800f0922 to no success.

Internet connection is stable. When attempting to activate .NET framework 3.5 in the windows features box, error 0x800f0922 appears there too. I have 300GB of space available on this drive, which is visible on windows. .NET framework 4.8 is activated already. And I attempted disabling firewall for the updates, which made no change. Thank you for your help.
