Anyone seen this behaviour?
I'm using a DELL 7577, with an external monitor, Lenovo L28u-30 (4K HDMI).
The monitor has always had a problem that when the laptop turns off screen (battery saver) any windows on the external monitor are moved to the laptop screen on wake-up.
Recently, I commonly find File Explorer using 30-40% CPU and causing fans to spin up after the screen goes to sleep.
I have done all sorts of things - removed as many programs as possible, even re-installed windows, all to no avail, problem continues. Having now left the monitor unplugged, not seeing the problem any more. Is this a co-incidence or have people seen this before?
Anyone have any ideas?
