This ordeal started on 11/30/2020 (Cyber Monday).
I purchased a CyberpowerPC Gaming tower for my 9 year old son for Christmas with 2-3 days for shipping. From December 1 to December 10 the Fedex tracking page only had "A label has been created" which in FedEx terms means they never received the product for delivery. So I called order support 877-696-7786 and explained what I have been seeing and want to know the status of the tower. I was told to wait until 12/18/2020 that a resolution will be provided to me after their investigation. I called on 12/18/2020 and after explaining the whole story and was told that it has been escalated and call back on Monday, 12/21/2020. So I called back this morning inquiring on the resolution. Once again I was told to wait 10 business days now and I should receive a call on 12/24/2020 or 12/25/2020 with a resolution.
I have asked if they could just reissue the order and cancel the current one so I could get this gift in time for Christmas and I was told no. They have to investigate. I could cancel the order but then they would not honor the cyber Monday discounted price. So Microsoft is holding my money hostage to investigate an order that never reached the shipper.
If this was Amazon, New Egg, or Costco, etc... the order would have been canceled and reissued immediately. I do not understand why a multi-billion dollar company has this type of horrible customer service. I have spent a total of 6 hours calling order support to receive a different reason/answer to the problem at hand. I asked to talk to a supervisor and/or manager and then they would hang-up on me.
So now I really don't know if this product will actually make it to my house. I could not get that question answered. They could not give me a new shipment date, I cant cancel online. Once again Microsoft is holding my order hostage for some unknown reason.
Hopefully someone from Microsoft will see this and correct their online order support division.
