How to use date range filters in the new (v.1909) file explorer search

Prior to the 1909 update, the file explorer search worked much differently (and imo was much easier to use). One of the changes I notice is that when you type "date:" or "datemodified:" or "datecreated:" you no longer get the interactive calendar that used to pop up in the previous file explorer search.


Is there a way to set date range filters in the new search other than manually writing them by hand (which I probably can't because I don't remember the format used by Windows)?
