I just got an HP Reverb G2 VR headset and am trying to install it to do some flight simulation.
I am using an Asus ROG Maximus XI Extreme motherboard (Z390 based) with multiple USB 3 ports and a 2080 Nvidia card.
Everything checks out except USB 3. I have tried every port on the motherboard with no luck.
I've tried USB 3 powered hubs with no luck (these installed in a USB 3 port on the motherboard).
I've tried an Inatek PCIe powered USB 3 card with no luck.
The drivers in control panel appear to have Microsoft listed as the vendor - I have heard that this could be a problem so that should not be the culprit.
What must I do to get past this ridiculous bottleneck? Since Microsoft and HP collaborated on this headset, I did
not expect to run into this type of problem.
Thanks for any help.
