Windows 10 freezes randomly and I have to manually turn it off

I have an acer nitro 5 for about a year, and this week it started freezing everything while I played civilization 6, and then with gta V, without playing games, even while I was updating the Nvidia drivers or in the start menu to turn it off it frozen. I don't know what to do, when it freezes everything stops working, keyboard ,mouse , sound. Please help.
