Okay so for starters... Who in god's name decided they were a genius and that there should be a quick key on F1 (used for COUNTLESS things in games) for something so meaningless, pointless and annoying such as searching BING for "How to get help" on a GAMING COMPUTER.
Like seriously, this is ridiculous. Fire whoever made that design choice immediately because it shows how incapable they are at their job. If anyone in your teams actually knew what gaming was like, you'd know that many games don't allow key remapping and the ones that do often don't allow remapping of the function keys. It doesn't matter anyways though because regardless of what key it is, there should never... ever...... EVERRRRRR be a hotkey for this. I can't even think of a reason to use it. That is literally, by definition, what search engines are for.
And lastly... why can't I disable the key??? If you're going to add something so stupid and useless, it's as simple as making a setting for it. But apparently that's too difficult. I wasted almost a thousand dollars for a piece of junk that came with a broken escape key out of the box and an F1 button that upon every click, sends me out of whatever window I'm in, and into some stupidly inefficient and indefensible search for the most general phrase I've ever seen... "How to get help."
At this point I'd probably have an easier time just getting a Linux system and piecing my own computer together bit by bit. At least then I could have some fun on the games I love to play instead of this endless search for help. On top of that, probably would be easier than dealing with a trillion dollar corporation that cares more about the money in their pocket and false advertising about "ease of access" than their actual consumers that give them the money to begin with.
Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.
