I'm trying to figure out if my hardware is failing or not. I've tried pretty much everything recommended but nothing works. Laptop is past warranty at this point as well.
I thought it might've just been overheating and got my laptop serviced. New thermal paste was applied and so far the overheating issues haven't happened. But since then the crashes/BSOD have been more frequent.
No matter what game I try to play it'll crash to desktop within about 5-10 minutes. Or games will freeze and I have to close them through task manager. Sometimes my laptop will just freeze and I have to do a hard reset. Worst case is getting a BSOD.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, ran memory tests, checked registry and searched for malware.
My specs:
Gigabyte P57 V7
GeForce GTX 1070
Intel i7-7700HQ
DDR4-2400 8Gx2
M.2 PCIe SSD 256G + HDD2T
BIOS FB0E
DirectX 12
Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19041)
The BSOD I usually get is: VIDEO_SCHEDULING_ERROR 0x119 watchdog.sys (had this BSOD 5 times in the last 3 days)
Or: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_LIVEDUMP 0x193 watchdog.sys
I'm pretty clueless on what to do so any help is appreciated
