Is autocorrect corrupted by Grammarly plugin?

I have Windows 10 Home with Office suite 365 Family, and am using a Dell desktop DAMAVK4, with 64-bit OS x 64-based processor.

I have the Grammarly plugin

My issues are:

1) The words I enter into Autocorrect using Alt+ T + A are fine during the session in which I first add them to autocorrect, but are not recognised when I restart Word the next day. The misspelt words I have added reappear in red underline unchanged, as if their entries in autocorrect were not accepted/remembered after shutting down the PC.

2) Sometimes, words that I have added to autocorrect by using right-click > Add to autocorrect also appear to later be unrecorded, i.e., not added to my autocorrect list.

I wondered if this might have something to do with the Grammarly plugin.

I have tried:

Logging out of the plugin, but that doesn't help

Taking off the plugin completely (uninstalling it), but the issue persists.

Checking for Office updates; still the same problem

Completely reinstalling Office – still the same problem

3) Also, I am constantly asked to sign into Microsoft (top right of Word and Excel). Sometimes my login works only for a minute and I am logged out again, sometimes I am fine until the next day when I turn on and am logged out again.

I am not using the plugin at these times; it is installed but not activated. It seems random, and today, I was told my password was not recognised and I had to change it.

I have contacted Grammarly who are unable to help.

I wondered if Microsoft knew of this bug and a way to fix it as it is very frustrating.

Thanks.
