Hi there, so I have been using my wireless Xbox, One controller, on my PC for about a year now, and all of a sudden it has stopped connecting with my PC. If you head into Settings > Bluetooth & Other Devices right at the bottom it says "Other Devices" and it lists the Xbox Wireless Controller as Paired. As it always did before, only now when the controller is turned on at no point does it say Connected like it used to.
I have tried the following:
Furthermore, I tried talking with an expert on the included Help app on Windows 10, where they told me it was a driver issue. I have already re-installed my drivers as far as I can tell.
What really is confusing me is that the PC seems to constantly think the device is still paired, even after uninstalling the device and the drivers in Device Manager. If anyone can help this would be greatly appreciated! Everywhere I google I find the same "fixes" as specified above which - so far - haven't worked.

I have tried the following:
- Reinstalling Bluetooth Drivers and Updating drivers for the Xbox One Wireless Controller
- Going into Device Manager and Uninstalling the Xbox One Wireless Controller, restarting the computer, and trying to re-pair the controller.
- This presents an interesting effect, which may be of note. Upon doing this the Xbox Wireless controller no longer appears on the "Bluetooth and Other Devices" menu. However, if you return to Device Manager and press "Scan for Hardware Changes" the Xbox Wireless Controller reappears under the Bluetooth devices tab, even if the controller is turned off and isn't connected via micro-USB.
- I have uninstalled the Intel Wireless Bluetooth device and drivers through Device Manager, restarted my computer, and scanned for hardware changes whereupon it reinstalls the device and drivers - still no success.
- I have checked that the Bluetooth still works on my PC by connecting it to a variety of other devices.
- I have checked that the Bluetooth still works on the controller by connecting it to my iPad and my Android phone.
- I have gone into services.msc and set Bluetooth Support Services to "Automatic" and restarted that service - still nothing
- I unplugged my Bluetooth card from the motherboard, booted the computer, shut down the computer, and reconnected the Bluetooth card - out of sheer desperation. Still nothing.
