Hi,
I recently got a new SSD and wanted to reinstall windows on to that for better performance over my HDD. I was doing the installation with a USB stick and without the HDD connected but it went into an installation loop. After that, I wiped it and tried taking the USB out when it restarted, it then came up with the problem "reboot and select a proper boot device". I'm not sure what to do and was wondering if anyone else had this problem.
Solutions I have tried:
1) reinstalling boot media on USB
2) complete shut down and try again
3) burning the installation media onto USB with Rufus
4) disconnecting and reconnecting SSD
System:
Ryzen 5 3600x
Asus prime b450-plus
16 GB DDR4 RAM
NVIDIA GTX 1660 SUPER
1TB TOSHIBA HDD (the drive that already has windows on)
500GB Samsung 860 evo SSD (for new installation of windows)
Any ideas???
