Got a question because Microsoft support hasn't helped me at all. About 18 months ago, a prompt came up asking me to sign into my MS acccount. Since I never opened an account I thought okay...so I did. I created a login with a password and a hint. Mind you, I have never used this word as a hint before. So then later that day, I go to reboot my computer and for the very first time I am asked to log in. Never ever had to before. So I figure the log in must be my new MS account. So I put in the password and it says it is wrong. But here is the kicker, the hint is the word I used when I created my MS account. So it HAS to be the password. Called MS several times and spent 16 hours on the phone with them. They acted like it was the first time the have ever heard of this. We tried everything. So I was able to use my computer under the second user, but I have no admin privileges meaning if I have an issue, I cannot fix it. I can't download new programs or updates on many programs either. Its aggravating. So, has anyone encountered this or have a fix for it. Please don't guess. Really looking for an answer here.
