Xbox game bar resetting it's volume.

Hello,


For months now I have been playing a game that uses Xbox game bar and when I get invites from friends I get my eardrums burst by the notification. At first I just lowered the volume of Xbox game bar in my volume controller panel. I was surprised that the next time I played it happened again, and I did the same, and this has been continuing for months.


Unlike ALL my other apps, Xbox game bar keeps resetting its volume to MAX. Because of how my headset works I have my device volume relatively high and my apps ALL lowered down. The apps stay at the volume I've set them at but Xbox game bar keeps resetting.


Can someone please give me advice on how to fix this issue or if it is a bug that will eventually be fixed?

There does not seem to be a way to keep the volume low, but there is at least a way to mute the notifications permanently.

Windows key + G -> Settings -> Notifications -> Silence Notification Sounds
