Windows Vista error code 0x80070070 during Windows setup

Hello there,

I recently tried installing Windows Vista on an old Acer Aspire 7730G from 2008 that already ran Windows 7 as its main OS.
I created a 70GB partition and made a 7 GB USB bootable using RUFUS.
While Windows Vista setup i encountered that mysterious error:

Windows Vista error code: 0x80070070
Windows cannot copy files required for the installation. Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart the installation.

I wasn't able to find out much about it but apparently, it indicates insufficient storage.

I then tried everything to resolve that error:

Extending the partition,
Different software to make my USB bootable (RUFUS and WinToFlash)
Different ISO's
Different USB ports
Ran CHKDSK
Defragmented all drives

,but the error still persisted. (And yes, i made sure that the USB was FAT32 formatted and no, I'm 100% sure that the USB isn't broken because i installed Windows 7 with it just a week prior.)

I hope someone here can help me resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance
