Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2019

I have had problems with the new Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2019. I do not have regular internet access, it is often down, so I work mostly offline. I recently purchased a new machine, and the experience has been HORRIBLE. Microsoft keeps locking my machine and saying "Internet Access Required" to even get into the system, so I have to drive to town, connect to the internet, have Dell reset my machine and start over. I have already done this 3 times! It has been over a week since I got my new machine, and it is still not set up because of this.

How Do I prevent this? I need to be able to use my computer and the Office applications I purchased when the internet it not available. Why is this not the very first choice? i.e. Choose Set up my computer for constant connection OR Set up my computer to connect for this setup only and use computer offline/ occasional connection. It would be an easy and logical choice.

Also, things like clipart, fonts, all that type of thing don't work when I am offline now, it says I need to be online. How do I get copies to download so that I can work without the internet?

Windows keeps imposing security measures that I do NOT WANT OR NEED. As I am mostly disconnected, I don't need - and cannot make work - the heavy duty security with passwords and pins sent codes and double locking requiring security questions, thumbprints, eye scan, DNA sample... I should be deciding what security I need to have, not some software company deciding and imposing their decisions on me.

Why is Microsoft downgrading themselves to be like Apple? I HATE Apple because I have no control over my iPad, it is their machine, I only get to use it sometimes if I'm lucky, very compliant AND connected to the internet - i.e. rarely. I don't use if for ANYTHING IMPORTANT since I can't get to it most of the time so I don't trust it or them, it is not a reliable tool, more an expensive paperweight. I have always counted on Microsoft for the really important stuff.

Microsoft has always been better than that, what happened?

Not all of us feel the need, or have the luxury, to be constantly connected to the world, and have the world have constant access to us. Some of us find all that unattainable, and by the way, a distraction, unnecessary, even undesirable. Isn't every health-care group out there saying that everyone needs to "disconnect" more?

How do connect on My terms, and stay disconnected, unattached, and unassimilated when I need to be, and still use my computer, and my purchased software, so that I can work?

HELP!
