api-ms-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll missing error

when i try to install cockatrice i get this pop up error- api-ms-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll missing. I did install the visual cc++ that came with it, but still not working. please advise. My pc runs windows 7 64 bit.
