Installing windows XP on 'new' computer

i have a unbranded PC with a very small capacity hard drive. Can i perform a new instalation of Windows XP on a larger capacity hard drive, using a branded instalation disk that came with a Dell Dimension 460 ?

I have the activation code, both on the disc's sleeve and on the sticker of the original computer.

failing that, can i transfer the OS from the low capacity drive to the larger one ?
