Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019

I am trying to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributablex64: vc_redist.x64.exe.


I have recently bought a game on Steam and and error appears saying it can not find 2 paths in the Visual C++.


C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{BBF2AC74-720C-3CB3-8291-5E34039232FA}v14.0.24215\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_x86\



C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{50A2BC33-C9CD-3BF1-A8FF-53C10A0B183C}v14.0.24215\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_amd64\


I have read a number of ways to get around this and a number of them involve uninstalling the current version of C++ and re installing. I am able to uninstall the previous versions. however i can not download the version at the top of this question.


if i try and install the x86 i get the same issue i have with the game..... can not find path C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{BBF2AC74-720C-3CB3-8291-5E34039232FA}v14.0.24215\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_x86\


And the same if i try the x64 with C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{50A2BC33-C9CD-3BF1-A8FF -53C10A0B183C}v14.0.24215\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_amd64\



There is probably an answer around somewhere. im just struggling to find out what i need to do.


any help would be great.
