Not able to see the files while uploading in Windows8

I have a problem with uploading files.Its fine with gmail.

But when i'm trying to upload files in other its showing empty folders(No items match your search) in Documents,Downloads and desktop eventhough files are present in it.

I couldnot understand where the problem is.

Could you please help in finding the solution for this as its affecting my daily work.
