Audio Stuttering and Pc Freezing Randomly

S

SoulEater5674

This issue is driving me insane for a while I've dealt with it but I really would like to get rid of it if possible. Sometimes when I'm using my computer it will randomly have what I like to call micro freezes/stutters where the mouse freezes, the audio stutters and gets choppy and the game I'm playing lags like it would if you had high ping. I ran latencymon and saw that something obviously wasn't right but I don't know what to do. I've done some things to try to fix this issue and they include

Sfc /scannow

Dism

Uninstall/reinstall audio drivers

Clean boot

Disk Defrag

The specs of my rig are

Processor-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700F CPU @ 3.00GHz, 3000 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Graphics Card-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER

Ram-16Gb

Motherboard-Gigabyte Technology B365M DS3H WIFI

OS-Windows 10 Build 1904

Here is the stats from the latencymon, if anyone knows what will help please let me know, its driving me insane, my theory is that it has something to do with the wireless driver but I don't know what I could do. Thank you

CONCLUSION

Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. At least one detected problem appears to be network related. In case you are using a WLAN adapter, try disabling it to get better results. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.

LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 0:05:58 (h:mm:ss) on all processors.

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.

Highest measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 54654.40

Average measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 46.696861

Highest measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 54587.60

Average measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 43.986990

REPORTED DPCs

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

DPC routines are part of the interrupt servicing dispatch mechanism and disable the possibility for a process to utilize the CPU while it is interrupted until the DPC has finished execution.

Highest DPC routine execution time (µs): 50330.070

Driver with highest DPC routine execution time: ntoskrnl.exe - NT Kernel & System, Microsoft Corporation

Highest reported total DPC routine time (%): 0.015880

REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

Process with highest pagefault count: svchost.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults 2267

Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process: 911

Number of processes hit: 19
