bluetooth does not show any devices even when turned on..

actually my laptop dell core i5 . when i try to connect my lap with any of my other devices via bluetooth . they show no devices in the device section . i have checked if the connection is proper . everything is fine but they dont show any devices when i turn on my bluetooth , i have no solution for this . please help me.
