We have 3 printers, 2 capable of duplex printing, and 1 old that is making a mess of duplex jobs. (It has a duplex unit that is not ok).
However, we like to use it until the end of its life, for one-sided documents!
One or two years ago I in printer properties set 'no duplex' for the old one, and 'duplex' for the other two.
It worked perfect, the old one printing single-sided and the others double-sided.
Now, since 2(?) years, Windows has taken over and 'remembers' the setting from the last print job, regardless of the setting in printer properties.
So, we always must check and sometimes correct the duplex setting in the printing dialogue.
Any ways out of this little dilemma?
