How do I switch off the pen on the Snipping Tool? Windows 10

Whenever I've used the (old) Snipping Tool today, the Pen has been switched on. I haven't done that nor have I closed the Snipping Tool with the Pen still switched on. Example snip below. It hasn't happened before.


How do I turn it off please?
