Hi, back to the fail update again. O.K. I have tried, Microsoft has re-tried downloading and installing Cumulative Update KB4592438 which doesn't even get to1% installed before an error shows up. All other updates in the same bunch all updated fine. The error code is Ox80070002, the only information the troubleshooter has, is Problem with Bits service/ NET HELP MSG. 2182 or the Background Intelligence Transfer Service. I went through the process to make sure it was started through MS/ Config. and it was started and set to Auto, which is what the MSG 2182 says, that's it I do not have anymore steps it give me to do except, turn off my Anti- Virus protection and I have done that in the past and never could get the anti-virus re-started without deleting the update!
My Computer is a HP Pavilion p6340f, 11yrs. old 64, and 32 bit with 2TB Hard Drive with 1.6TB space left, 8GB Memory with a Intel Quad 4 Processor, Q8400.
