Airpods suddenly stop playing music after a few minutes on windows 10

For some reason and only when I'm listening to music on my new laptop, my airpods stop playing sound after a few minutes. I don't have this problem with other apps like discord, just spotify. I also didn't face this problem on my old laptop, just this new one. If I pause the music then hit play after about 5 minutes the music turns back on for a few minutes then stops again... How do I fix this?
