Greetings,
When I try to launch a game I get the error message:
"The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_43.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this."
I have so far done a complete reinstall of Windows twice, updated windows and drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the program a couple times, and performed a sfc scan. The scan detected and fixed some corrupt files, however when I try to launch the game it still gives me the error.
I see from older posts concerning this issue that a fix may be to install/update a version of DirectX, but all the links to the Microsoft site end up at a 404 page and DirectX seems to no longer be a standalone download.
I dont see a way to download the .dll file from a non sketchy looking site.
Hoping someone out there has the answer.
