I have a boxed Windows 10 and installed it on a newly built machine, but Windows was activated with a digital licence

I am trying to understand the Windows 10 activation process.

I have recently built a PC from new parts and bought boxed Windows 10 Pro from online shop.

I installed Windows from the pendrive attached and entered the Windows key during installation.

I can see in the Activation Settings, that Windows is activated with a digital licence, but based on Activate Windows 10 , I expected it to be activated with a product key.


Why is my system activated with a digital licence if I installed boxed version on a new PC? Did I overlook anything?

I just want to make sure that my Windows is 100% genuine.
