There are currently no logon servers to service the logon request

Hi everyone,


I need your help.

I have 2 computers running windows 7 ultimate


These 2 computers that are no longer part of a domain and the domain server is no longer available but they need to share network drives.


I can't access or logon to the other PC even if both are connected to the same router using Lan cable.( It's only these 2 computers on this Lan)


Network sharing is enabled they are both on a work network.


I can't create a work group because windows doesn't allow computers on a domain to create a work group.


I need them to communicate but am getting this error "........ There are currently no logon servers to service the logon request"



Please help.
