So I have recently installed a new 2 TB WD internal HDD in my pc. I had an issue with the previous HDD(so I thought), so I bought a new one. I have formatted the drive, made sure all of the drivers are up to date, and did the new simple volume to turn it into allocated space. The issue that I am having is that all seems well with the HDD until I put the PC in sleep mode or power it off. Once I do that the HDD once again becomes unallocated. I have lost my games and other items on my HDD. The crazy thing is that I contacted Windows support and the advice they gave me worked for two weeks then the issue started happening again. Can someone please help me with this??
My build is the following:
Ryzen 9 3900x
48 gbs of Corsair Dominator RAM
Aorus Pro Wifi x570
NZXT CPU cooler
1 TB Samsung SSD
RTX 3070
The HDD is a WD 2 TB 3.5 inch 5400 RPMs.
Any help is appreciated.
