I used to use microsoft under an old email, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, on an old laptop of mine. i upgraded in december of 2019 to a new laptop and at some point i recieved a text message that my microsoft account under *** Email address is removed for privacy *** had been deleted. I just now tried to log into my old pc but none of the passwords i try will work and when i try to reset the password, it says that the account in question doesnt exist, rendering my old laptop unusable when i still have files i wish to access on it.
