Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I imported photos and videos from my iPhone to my Windows laptop
I have only about 5000 photos and videos combined that I want to import to my laptop so I can free up space on my phone
Laptop is performing on Windows 10, I have the latest iTunes app
Am using an Apple USB cable to connect my iPhone to laptop
When I open the Photos app and click IMPORT (top right corner) and select from USB device, it does read my device is connected and searches for the number of photos
The search does appear as the correct number of photos to import, I select ALL PHOTOS from the drop down box to imported (which ticks all the blue boxes in the corner for every single photo) however when I click IMPORT '5000' ITEMS, it will show a message saying IMPORTING and show the progress of how many has been imported
It will import nothing - if I'm lucky it will import just 1 item out of 5000 items
After that, another pop-up message appears stating SOMETHING WENT WRONG. YOUR FILES MAY NOT HAVE BEEN IMPORTED.
I start the whole process again and the same thing repeats
Any solutions for this?
Last time I imported about 4000 items and it worked fine
