Message Terminal Program : Cannot open COM7. Access denied.

To check the data at a COM port after some problems with the communication with a COM port I use a Terminal Program.

I have set the right COM port number as well as the Baudrate.

Then the terminal Program gives the message:


"Cannot open COM7. Access denied."


May be that some files in my Windows10 pc are corrupted after a power fail I had a couple of days ago.

Is it possible to repair something ?
