I had to format an older computer of mine and while trying to activate or update I ran into an issue. I'm getting Error code 0XC004E003 and its not even giving me the option to activate by phone. It says I can contact microsoft by phone to resolve the problem but that just opens my help file and I don't get an installation id or any phone numbers. I've gone circles with the auto agent who always says contact this person but then it says unavailable.
I've tried SLUI 4 which doesn't do anything other then I already described. I also ran MGA Diagnostics trying to follow the steps others have done but I don't see any follow on data for those questions. Here is my dump from that
Is it just Windows 7 isn't supported at all anymore? or am I missing something? Or did I screw up something with the reinstall that toasted my copy?
My update code is 80072EFE but I'm not sure that has anything to do with it at this point. I managed to manually update to service pack one hoping that would help and I tried installing Kb313812 and kb4490628 and neither of those would and that was supposed to be the "solution" for the update issues.
Any help?
