Nearly all windows related apps crash seconds after launching them

As my title says most apps crash shortly after starting up. Its nearly all windows apps apart from control panel (Until you try to open properties), Settings, and task manager. When I first encountered the problem I tried to run the troubleshoot tool but that crashed as well. After that I installed the newest updates for windows 10 and restarted but that didn't work either.


I would just like to know if there are any ways to fix it short of factory resetting it.
