Hi,
I got a genuine windows 7 dvd with the purchase of an HP laptop. Unfortunately, my hard drive got burnt . I got a new hard drive and installed the Windows 7 again. However, it gives a message " 3 days until automatic activation".
when i click " activate windows" , the option Phone Activation does not come up. Even tried the Run command prompt.
I called Microsoft customer service and was told to post in the Community forums.
Please help me out.
