Audio Output and Input Not Recognized after Update

This morning I was told to install an update on my Windows 10 computer, but after I did it, it said that it was having trouble restarting and needed me to uninstall all my programs to do a complete reset. I did that, and after I reset my computer it had all of its programs missing PLUS the audio was not functioning anymore. It does not recognize any output or input devices. I've tried all I can find to fix this issue, like deleting and reinstalling the drivers, running the troubleshooter, restarting my laptop, and adding legacy hardware in the device manager, but nothing worked. The only thing that does work is if I go to the Realtek website and download the program from there- after I reset my pc it works. However, every time I turn off my computer now or reset it the download uninstalls itself and I am back to square one. Is there any way I can fix this problem and get my audio back for good?
