I've found lots of **** "solutions" when searching for this, from downloading 1MB large "blank icons", to a specific taskbar program from a TP, all the way to "answers" that aren't responding to my question.
Now I am no way smarter. So I ask here at microsoft in the windows forum:
Win 8.1 clearly separated 3 areas at the screen bottom, let's call it taskbar. From left to right:
- pinned program icons which would always stay there
- wide program icons showing which are running
- tray icons
- Plus, in the left area, the permanently pinned program icons, was a divider (minimum one), to further organize pinned programs.
- Plus, I could click those icons again, to open as many program instances as I needed.
Where is this formerly brilliant screen estate organization and functionality in Win10?
My very recently installed (read fresh) Win10 (paid, no worries) is a mess instead. Plus, It "loses" icons at will, in the tray area.
I will try to include a screenshot proof of the mess here:
Does anyone of you remember how well this was done in Win8.1?
Did you get that back somehow in Win10?
Mind to share?
