isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm is referenced in a Microsoft.com
article. Note it is a malicious website that upon visiting immediately loads
the Trojan Horse virus PE_TRATS.A-O

PE_TRATS is identified by Trend Micro and Symantec/Norton as an especially
harmful virus desigend to self-replicate, steal identity information, corrupt
data and hijack pc's.

Hello:

See the MS article Windows XP CD Burning Secrets at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/learnmore/bott_03september16.mspx .
Near the bottom, it states:

"Do you need to create ISO image files? As the name suggest, these files are
perfect copies of a CD, which you can store on hard disk and use to make
additional copies of a CD later. Windows XP can't create or copy ISO images,
although the unauthorized ISO Recorder Power Toy can add this capability to
Windows XP."

The MS unsupported, but suggested, ISO Recorder can be downloaded at:
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm .

To burn an ISO image file to a CD, simply right-click on the .iso file in
Windows Explorer, and you will see a new action added to the possible list
of actions, that is highlighted and says "Copy Image TO CD." Just click on
that and the CD Recording Wizard will start, but now will let you burn the
..iso file properly.

HTH,
O.J.

I'm with O.J. I have used that application to make a perfect bootable copy
of XP for my own use.
