Hi.
I'm looking at selling my asus laptop. It was originally a Windows 8 but I upgraded it to Windows 10 Home.
The version of W10 is activated and linked to my Microsoft account.
I intend removing all of my account details prior to selling and adding a generic administrator account for the new owner to take over.
My question is, will the version of W10 still be activated once I've removed all of my info?
I ask because although this is a genuine version of W10, I'm concerned the new owner may have to purchase a new product key. I do have the original W8 product key that I used to upgrade to W10.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
