Taskbar system app icon in the beginning menu

So something like that popped up in my windows8 pc and i gotta ask, is that a trojan? I've read its a trojan or a virus but im not sure and i hadn't seen the icon or said app before so im actually worried if that is true, and if so how do i deal with it?
