After updating my Lenovo ideapad 320 (Windows 10), I got for the first time the "we couldn't complete the updates" message, and cannot get out of that screen. With that said, I've tried almost every solution I've found online (like troubleshooting) but none of them work, and the main issue seems to be that I cannot access Windows Update while in Safe Mode. I've deleted all the files on the SoftwareDistribution Folder, I've tried manually enabling the software via CommandPrompt and services.msc, but nothing, I always get the message "This service cannot be started in Safe Mode".
The only option I haven't tried yet is "Reset Your PC", which I don't really understand what it really does, and if I have to do anything in order to save as much as possible, since I don't want to lose any files, and losing my apps and configurations is not terrible but it sounds like a pain to get all of them back.
If there is a solution to any of these problems, I'll be more than thankful.
