Printer not visible to the server

I have a server, two printers and two work stations connected to the network working perfectly for fifteen years. Recently one of the printers has lost communication with server.

Both workstations can print to both printers. Server can see and print to one of the printers but not to the other one.

I can ping printer from the server.

“Scan to folder” from printer gives message “This folder is not currently accessible. Contact your network administrator”.



Any idea what might be a problem?

Please not, I am not an IT guy.
