Hi there,
i first came accross this issue two days ago when i was using my samsung monitor with headphones plugged into the monitor for the first time. It seems to have created audio drivers for itself that it uses to take the audio. However after this my realtek sound driver dissappeared, meaning i could not play any audio through my laptop by itself. I have tried uninstalling the new nvidia drivers and reinstalling the realtek drivers on their website and through my recommended acer drivers for my laptop, however they do not appear in device manager, even under hidden drivers. I have tried going back to a recovery point before the issue, however the same problem persists, even after doing a re-installation of windows. I hope someone can help me with this issue as i don’t want to have to pay somebody to get it fixed.
my laptop specs are:
Intel 8th gen core i5-8300H 2.3GHz
x64 bit operating system
