Windows 10 Admin Privilege

Alright, so I just reset my windows 10 on my computer. The whole reason why I reset my computer was to actually have admin privileges that actually worked.

Before I even reset my computer I was listed as an admin. Turns out that wasn't true at all. I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can be sure that I have tried to do everything right. I should have been listed as an admin as soon as I reinstalled my windows the first time I got my computer. Something on Microsoft's end proves that this is false.

On my account page I am supposedly an admin, but every time I tried to change something on my C drive I required admin approval. But according to my Microsoft account on my windows computer, I am an admin. I have looked up how to make the c drive mine, and I have set it so that it should be well within my admin privileges. I.E going to the C>Properties>Security>Permissions>Users and setting it so that I am an admin and am the sole owner of the drive. But for some amazing reason on Microsoft, I am not considered having admin privileges.

In my C drive properties, there are three names, for "group or user names" these three are "System" Me (my email), Administrators (Desktop), for these three I should be the sole administrator, I own this computer and am the only user of this computer. This is my personal home computer, not companies.

Yet I have to get "Admin approval" to do anything.

I am shown on the users as an admin, yet everything I do requires admin approval. I cannot even drop a file into my c drive (I.E extract from an archive) without being denied.

Why can I not do anything while being an administrator? I am listed as an administrator with full control, yet at the same time with no control.

How do I actually get admin privileges and how do I fix this problem so that this will not happen again?
