Start menu on the second screen is too large

I am connecting an external monitor through HDMI (USB Type-C) which has resolution 2560 * 1080 to my Surface Book 3 13.5'. Everything works fine on the Surface. On the external monitor, all the applications work fine except for the start menu, which is way too big. Actually it is so big that I cannot even see all the icons. The actual situations please refer to Image 1 (full screen start menu) and Image 2 (not full screen start menu). This happens even when using Second Screen Only mode.


My system is Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19042 Build 19042.


BTW, I also tried monitors with different resolutions, the problem remains.
