Icons unaligned on task bar windows 7

Some of my icons have dropped down lower, making the task bar deeper, and the icons misaligned. I have tried adjusting the size of the icons and moving the task bar up and down. Neither action helped.

I tried taking picture of just the tool bar to include in this question but could not get it to attach to the question text section
